The curriculum for the B.Sc. program is prepared based on similar programs in European countries and in accordance with the State Education Standard for Higher Education of Republic of Turkey and the State Educational Standard of Higher Education of the Kyrgyz Republic.

The curriculum for the B.Sc. program was established in accordance with the European Credit Transfer System (ECTS).

Objectives of the Undergraduate Program

  • Providing knowledge and skills listed below to the students of the Department:
  • Research modeling and simulation models of information with applied problems using mathematical methods;
  • Research management methods of computer network security and administration tools, automated systems and information processing tools;
  • Use numerical methods for solving mathematical problems arising from production and technological activities;
  • Use programming languages;
  • Research digital image processing, computer graphics tools, multimedia and automated designing;
  • Develop technology by using mathematical methods, information systems and mathematical methods of forecasting and system analysis;
  • Research the development and realization of information systems related with the processes of the quality control of industrial activity.

Expected Outcomes of the Undergraduate Program

The undergraduate program in the field of applied mathematics and computer science is organized in accordance with the following types of professional activities:

Technological activities in design and production; 

  • Developing algorithms, computational models and data models for the implementation of functions and services of information systems;
  • Developing mathematical, informational and simulational models on the subject of experimental design and applied studies;
  • Developing project and program documentation.

Scientific research;

  • Applications of cutting-edge technologies and software packages for solving problems in the field of physics, chemistry, biology, economics, medicine and ecology;
  • Conducting experiments and processing data using modern information and computer technologies;
  • Deep studies on new scientific results, scientific literature and research projects in accordance with the profile of future professional activities.

Pedagogical activities;

  • Studies in high schools and universities in the area;
  • Advising the implementation of course and diploma work of students of higher and secondary educational institutions on topics related to the field of information technology;
  • Conducting seminars and practical trainings, as well as giving lectures on special subjects.

Internship/practice

Students are required to pass the training and professional inernships conducted in organizations, departments and laboratories of the university. This can be fulfilled through research work. 

Double Major

In 2015-216 years in the department of Applied Mathematics and Informatics was opened for student to receive additional specialization.

  1. This helps students to receive a new qualification and profession. Currently this type of additional professional education has international standards and it meets international requirements.
  2. These educational programs help students learn a new profession in a short time.
